I am a freelance corporate and financial communications specialist with insight and experience from 13 years in capital markets and both in-house and agency roles in London and Asia.
Having begun my career in Telecoms, Media and Technology corporate banking with BNP Paribas Fortis, I have since worked with leading global financial PR consultancies Finsbury (London), FTI Consulting (Singapore) and Tulchan Group (Singapore). I was most recently Vice President in the Singapore Exchange’s (SGX) Media Communications team, responsible for managing the profile and reputation of the exchange’s Derivatives, Fixed Income and Market Data divisions, as well as supporting Group corporate and financial communications.
I have valuable experience working across a diverse range of sectors including financial services, asset management, private equity, commodities, FMCG and telecoms. I have also been involved in a number of high profile M&A situations, friendly and hostile, IPO and capital raising events as well as business critical issues and crises.
Past clients in London, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia have included Aviva, Vodafone, Standard Chartered, KKR, Zurich Insurance, Société Générale, Bain Capital, Deutsche Bank, Westpac, Temasek and Diageo.
I left Singapore with my family in February 2019, before spending four months in the South of France, where I blogged about our adventure (https://bywayofprovence.blog), before we returned to the UK and I began freelancing.
I graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University with a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) in 2005.
